Very important information if you have an iOS device and you upgrade to iOS 10

A new feature called Wi-Fi Assist will allow the use of cellular data if the local Wi-Fi signal is poor. There is no alert and this feature will chew through your cellular data rapidly.

From Apple:

"Wi-Fi Assist is on by default. If you don't want your iOS device to stay connected to the Internet when you have a poor Wi-Fi connection, you can disable Wi-Fi Assist. Go to Settings > Cellular. Then scroll down and tap the slider for Wi-Fi Assist."
